This new Biocomposite Bridge in Ulm was developed as part of the Smart Circular Bridge Project, with BioMat serving as the architectural partner. This is the second bridge completed under the project, following the Almere bridge in the Netherlands, and is the first one in Germany. It is situated in the centre of Ulm’s old town, 150 metres from the Ulm Cathedral, crossing the Blau river.
