We are very happy to welcome Simon Mönch.
As a research assistant and later also deputy to Prof. Dr Kuhlmann at the Institute for Construction and Design, he was involved in research into timber-concrete composite structures (HBV), cervicals under static and cyclic loading for multi-storey timber construction and road bridge construction. The acquisition of third-party funding is just as much a part of his profile as industry co-operation projects and expert reports.
In the next two semesters, Simon Mönch will expand the ITKE team in teaching and research and, together with Sonja Geier (IBK), form the research standem "Innovations in timber construction". The research group is funded by the Ministry of Rural Affairs in the State of Baden Württemberg.
